Smile's new Sidekick app extension is live for Shopify merchants. Loyalty data that merchants already track in Smile like repeat purchase rate, member LTV, VIP status, point redemption, and referral revenue, can now be queried in conversation with Shopify's AI assistant, directly from the admin. For mid-market and enterprise Shopify Plus brands, that turns a multi-step loyalty analytics review into a single question.

Smile’s Sidekick App Extension lets Shopify and Shopify Plus merchants query their loyalty program data directly through Shopify’s AI assistant, Sidekick.

At launch, merchants can ask Sidekick how their loyalty program is performing across five areas: business growth, performance benchmarks, customer segments, points activity, and referrals. That covers loyalty-driven revenue, Smile ROI, points redemption rates, how members compare to non-members on AOV and purchase frequency, monthly points activity, and referral revenue and conversion rates.
